Hello!

My name is Melanie Henage. I've been teaching swim lessons for 10 years, Kid Star Soccer for 8 seasons and Kid Star Basketball for 4 seasons. It's been such a rewarding and fulfilling experience for me. I love the kids I teach and seeing them grow and build confidence in themselves and their abilities. I graduated from BYU with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Physical Education and minors in Coaching and Family Life. I taught physical education and career and technical education at Freedom Preparatory Academy in Provo from 2009-2015. I have 2 amazing kids that I enjoy doing Kid Star Play with!  I started soccer in 3rd grade and basketball in 8th grade.  I played in high school, intramural teams in college, and now enjoy playing on city league teams as an adult.
